Toyota FT-86 G Sport Turbo Concept Unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon

Hidden in the mist of all the excitement for Toyota concept FT-86 reavels that they have plans to launch a G Sports Series in an effort to add a sportier feels to toyota’s bland but useful lineup of vehicles.  With upcoming cars such as the FT-86 and the Lexus LFA, Toyota hopes to shed its “soft” label and bring back their competitive roots with a nostalgic looking FT-86 painted in white with a carbon fiber hood resembling the beloved AE86. Although not much is revealed about the G Sport Turbo Concept other than its 2.0-liter turbo engine with RWD and a six-speed manual transmission. It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten much life out of Toyota’s sports car development depart, but it seems as if they’re awake now and answering our cries.
