Mercedez-Benz SLS AMG shoots out the tunnel like a bat out of hell!
January 28th, 2010   |  by Chris   |   2

Back in the 90’s, my childhood dreams of flying car fell flat when the year 2000 came along and there were no flying cars in the sky and nothing working in the blueprint. After watching the high velocity stunt of Michael Schumacher driving the new SLS AMG supercar with its gull wing doors in this latest Mercedes-Benz commercial, I got goosebumps all over again of the possibilities that the future holds yet again. First we’re driving on the road, now we’re driving on walls and soon maybe we’ll be flying alongside pelicans in the sky. Just make sure avoid them or this could happen to you. Watch as the drama unfolds in this wall crawling stunt that would even make Spiderman happy.

Im almost 100% sure that this stunt if the work of hollywood and clever editing, theres another video thats surfaced with different drivers. Although the idea of a car fling through space or even driving on walls ie. men in black, does sound awesome. i know of only one super car that theoretically can drive upside down, but unfortunatly its never been proven. Sadly its not the mercedes. Gata give it up to mercedes love the stunt, cool concept. wish it was reel.

Of course this is a stunt! There’s no way in hell the 7-time Formula One Champion would risk harm to his billion dollar body to drive upside down. That and the physics is all wrong. The SLS does not generate enough downforce at speed to stick to the ceiling.
